A Valentine's Day feature by Stone Cold Fox.
Kelsey & Alexander met in a brief passing at the Bel Air Bay Club, but not until 5 years later did their eyes actually connect and he instantly knew he had to take her out. It only took one date at Rose Cafe to make these two official. Kelsey loves his logical mind and genuine family values. @alexanderhinds loves @kelsey_white’s secret goofy side, her beauty ( I mean, how could you not), her humble attitude and anytime she’s wearing #stonecoldfox. These two love drinking good wine while adventuring to concerts and warm nights on the beach. Kelsey wears the Wilshire Blouse in white lace. #FoxesInLove
Every beauty routine starts with a good base. It took me until I was in my mid-twenties to realize how important it is to prep your skin before applying makeup! I'm currently obsessing over Shiseido's Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother that acts like a blurring filter, reducing the appearance of my pores.
The product can be applied before or after makeup application, but I personally like to use it in place of my primer. It serves a perfect first step by prepping my skin with a velvety finish. Most primers that I've used in the past feel silicone heavy and suffocating. This lightweight mixture feels like a magic balm and the results are instant! The pocket size packaging is also a major plus.
I apply a small amount to my fingertips, and pat evenly while focusing on the t-zone. The Oil Targeting Micro Powder quickly absorbs the excess sebum on skin's surface, diffuses light, and enhances moisture. It's perfect to use anytime under or over makeup for a fresh, matte look that is #selfieready.
As mentioned, it's incredibly important to start your beauty routine with a good base in order to set the stage for your makeup to last throughout the day. This product is the perfect step to ensure a lasting finish, but also portable enough to take with me when traveling for any last minute touch-ups. Thank you Shiseido for partnering with me on this post.
I plan on doing a post of my makeup routine with specific products I use, so stay tuned for that!
Phew, I survived Coachella again!
Foray hosted a 16 bedroom estate filled with fashion bloggers, along with a 200+ person event on Friday, April 14th. Margo and Me, Kaitlynn Carter, Thrifts and Threads, Michelle Take Aim, Hunt For Styles, Evelina, Xenia Overdose, and Becca Tilley are just some of the bloggers that stayed at the house. It was great spending time with girls in the industry and getting to know them better!
Most house guests arrived on Thursday evening just before our "welcome dinner", catered by Chef V. Veronica was our chef for the weekend and she cooked the most delicious, healthy meals to keep us fueled at Coachella.
L'Oreal Paris was Foray's headline sponsor for the weekend, so they set up a "glam lounge" for house guests to get their hair + makeup done all weekend long...major life savor! UK retailer, boohoo, set up a "revolving closet" at the estate, where girls could pick out outfits every day.
After the chaos we made our way to the festival grounds on Friday. Some of my favorite sets that night were Empire of the Sun, Phantogram, and Travis Scott - so bummed I missed Sampha and Glass Animals! The festival seemed quieter on Friday compared to the past few years I have been...
On Saturday, Foray x Funboy hosted a fiesta brunch, complete with a mariachi band. The massive buffet and a good laugh from the band was a perfect hangover cure. We spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool and recovering. Before the festival, we stopped by the Victoria's Secret Oasis to say hello to some friends and stock up on some goodies! Around 5pm, a group of us headed to the festival to catch the sunset. We spent most of our time at Rose Garden and The VIP bar where you literally ran into everyone! Majid Jordan, DJ Snake, Future, and Martin Garrix were some of my favs that night. We topped off the night at Neon Carnival and danced the night away.
Let's be real - Sunday I was dead. Two full days of nonstop socializing, dancing, and singing. I was totally beat...but we had to do one last day! We made it out one final time to see Galantis, New Order, DJ Khaled, Lorde, and Kendrick Lamar.
I am so thankful for the team I work with at Foray. We are a small startup, so it's very rewarding to see growth and success after all of the blood, sweat, and tears go into planning such an extravagent weekend! Until next year, Coachella!

Ahhhh, Coachella we meet again. This is my 5th year in a row heading to the desert and I couldn't be more excited. Coachella style can definitely have a bad stigma attached to it, but trust me - it can be done tastefully! I'm focusing this year on comfort and easy pieces with an edge.
You can check out a small feature I did with Time Out LA HERE about festival style, and also read about what other LA bloggers are packing this year :)
Writing down a few tips, because this ain't my first rodeo:
Make sure you're not wearing too many trends in one look, pick one!
Chill on the prints.
Make sure your outfit is photogenic. Obviously ;)
Wear comfortable ankle boots to the festival, your feet will thank you.
Buy something that is out of your style comfort zone and rock it.
Bring a bandana for the evening, it usually gets windy/dusty at night.
The process of actually getting into the festival is crazy, even if you're VIP. The path to the entrance is longggggg, but they have bike pedicabs to make things quicker. Bring cash!!
Pack a portable charger. This one from SONIX is amazing.
Go to the festival 5pm-midnight. I never go a full day, it's way too much for me!
Pick a general meeting spot in case you loose anyone.
Leave a little before the last headline act. The Uber Lounge can be a NIGHTMARE if you're there at at rush hour.
I admit it, I don't cook. As much as I'd like to, I just can't seem to justify cooking for myself every day. Living alone has it's perks, but meal prep isn't one of them! When it comes to lunch and dinner, I always stress where/what to eat and eventually decide on getting takeout (not the most cost effective option!) Ok - so I want to save $$ by not eating out, but going to the market ends up being just as (if not more) expensive. What is the solution?! Meal delivery from The Ranch Daily.
I am a HUGE fan of vegan food, so when The Ranch Daily asked if I wanted to try their 1 week plan, I was super excited. The Ranch is Malibu's famous wellness retreat which recently launched The Ranch Daily. The delivery plan comes with with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 2 snacks conveniently at your doorstep every morning in a cooler. Meals are freshly packed less than 24 hours before you receive them and are ready to eat - no cooking required! Everything from The Ranch Daily kitchen is vegan, gluten free, non-GMO, and organic as well.
Not into vegan food? Don't worry. With dishes like brown rice marinara pasta + savory lentil walnut meatballs, your vegan phobia will be gone in an instant. I finished every meal feeling full and satisfied from plant based proteins.
The site also has delivery preferences, allowing you to customize your delivery (which many other meal delivery sites don't do!)
You can check out the sample menu HERE to view current meals. I really enjoyed my experience with The Ranch Daily, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to eat wholesome, healthy meals at ease. I've documented a few of my favorite dishes and snacks below. Let me know if you have any questions or comments! :)
Next to skincare, good foundation is a EVERYTHING. I have to say, I've tried almost every foundation (thank you Ulta + Sephora for murdering me of my time and money) and I wanted to do a post to share my top 5 to save you the hassle. In my experience, these are the BEST foundations that deliver a flawless complexion. What are your go-to foundations? Comment your favorites below!
1. IT! Cosmetics // Your Skin But Butter CC+ Cream with SPF 50
This is my #1 choice for every day foundation. A sales person at Ultra recommended it to me after I told her that I have extremely sensitive skin, but still like a good amount of coverage. The finish is luminous and it covers up much more than typical BB or CC cream. The fact that it has SPF 50 is awesome too! It really is your skin, but better. I use the medium shade and apply it with the IT! Cosmetics foundation brush.
2. Bare Minerals // bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation SPF 20
A tone correcting foundation and hydrating skin care serum in one. This foundation is super lightweight with adjustable coverage. I like to use this during colder months when my skin is dull and needs a dewy brightness. My shade is Bare Natural 07.
3. Lancome // Teint Idole Ultra 24h Long Wear Foundation
The best foundation for a night out. It's an oil-free, long wearing foundation with a velvety-matte finish (which is great for photos!) It's full coverage but without feeling heavy or cakey. My skin feels SUPER smooth after using this and it also helps with redness. I use shade 330 Bisque N.
A long lasting foundation with a thicker texture. It has a matte finish, good coverage, and is paraben + sulfate free. I like to use this one in the summer when my skin is oily. My shade is Light/Medium Beige.
5. Makeup Forever // Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation
An HD foundation developed specifically for the film and TV industry's harsh lighting. If you plan to be on camera or be photographed, this is the foundation to use! It has a medium, buildable coverage that is 100% natural. Makeup Forever also has a great variety of shades. I use the shade 120 Soft Sand.
2016, what a year you have been. Ups, downs, and upside downs, I can truly say this has been a year of growth and realization for me.
Every December I make a list of personal goals to help expand my perspective and become a better version of myself. This year I've partnered with Express to share with you a few of mine for 2017! What are your resolutions? Comment below!
Discover a hobby. Playing piano & taking dance classes. I played piano and did ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap growing up - I'm making myself get back into it!!
Go to the beach. At least once a week to reflect.
Travel to a new country. Austria, in August.
Try something weird. TBD...
Be present. In every moment, stop thinking ahead. Put the phone down!
Be decisive. Things won't work unless you make them work. Speak up, take action, express your feelings. Don't be passive, don't wait.
Think with an open mind. Be optimistic & more sensitive to other people's perspective.
Be selective. Of who, where and how I spend my time. Only put myself in situations I truly want to be in.
Learn a different language. Italian.
Remind loved ones of their importance. With thoughtful gestures, or verbally.
Find... The perfect skincare routine.
Cook. One really amazing meal.
The white sweater tank that I am wearing is SO comfy and it's also a great transitional piece into spring. I'm also loving the fit on the distressed jeans (I've been wearing these almost every day since I got them!) Hellooo 2017 uniform.
Here's to a great year ahead!! xx
For most, Christmas time means hectic travel and last minute planning. Thankfully, my hometown of Calabasas is just a hop, skip, and a jump from LA! The best part about growing up in a city where nobody is from? The holidays pretty much guarantee a ghost town.
My favorite part about this time of year is to cozy up with a hot cup of coffee, my cat Nala, a good book, and allow myself to be an absolute hermit. Seriously, December-January I go into hibernation mode - this California girl was not built for the cold!
There is really no need to shop for heavy winter coats in Southern California, so cozy sweaters become a closet staple in a winter wardrobe. I love chunky, turtleneck knits with leather pants, vintage denim, or sleep shorts for hanging around the house. Express has a great selection of sweaters (all 50% off right now) that can easily transition into any season.
This January, I'll be snowbound to Park City (where the REAL cold is) for Sundance Film Festival which I'm really excited about!
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & happy holiday! x

I have been wearing contacts for 15 years. Yep, 15 years of uncomfortable, inconvenient, extremely expensive, contacts. LASIK has always been at the top of my wish list since it first came out. What would it be like to wake up and actually see around me? How nice would it be to call it a night and pass out without worrying about contacts? Well, now I CAN.
I decided to bite the bullet and finally book a consultation for LASIK. My optometrist referred me to Dr. Robert Maloney of Maloney Vision Institute. She assured me that he was THE doctor to see for LASIK eye surgery. Dr. Maloney is a Los Angeles based LASIK & Cataract Specialist, and the 1st M.D. to perform LASIK in western North America. In addition, he’s also trained more than 1,000 eye surgeons in the use of the excimer laser and has personally performed more than 60,000 vision-correction surgeries in the last 25 years. Dr. Maloney has also performed LASIK on noteworthy celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Cindy Crawford, Lindsey Vonn, and many, many more. If that isn’t enough, he also published three books, has been a principal investigator for 22 FDA studies, and is the Dodger's team eye doctor. Need any more validation?
I’ve decided to break down my LASIK experience into a digital diary, where I recorded every step, along with my thoughts and concerns. I hope this helps anyone reading who has ever considered getting LASIK. It has changed my life in the most incredible way. One word to describe the outcome – FREEING.
*The procedure is PAINLESS and takes 15 minutes (it’s not as scary as it seems).
*You can go to work the next day! Downtime is only ONE day.
*Yes, you can open your eyes after surgery.
*Dry eyes are common after surgery, but can be treated with rewetting drops.
VISIT #1: The referral from Dr. Wong
Dr. Wong Optometry, Santa Monica, CA
Step 1! I went to visit my local optometrist to express my interest in LASIK. She referred me to Maloney Vision and assured me he was the best in the game.
THE IN BETWEEN
3 days without contacts
Plan to set aside 3 full days without your contacts. This allows your eyes to rest so the doctor can take proper measurements (contacts can warp the shape of your corneas). Since I was pretty much blind, I had to wear my glasses for 3 days. Going through this part really had me eager about getting LASIK!
VISIT #2: The Measurements
Maloney Vision Institute, Westwood, CA
My first visit to the Maloney office! The staff was first class and I was very impressed with Dr. Maloney. He advised I was a candidate for iDesign LASIK (Maloney is one of the only centers in LA to offer this technology that maps your eyes for surgery). It’s scanning software 25X more precise than methods used to measure your eyes for glasses or contacts – which means better night vision and better chance of achieving 20/20 or better. I had no doubt I was in expert hands and set my appointment for LASIK for the following week!
VISIT #3: The Procedure
Maloney Vision Institute, Westwood, CA
Today is the day! I walked in the office feeling anxious and excited. I filled out final bits of paperwork, took a sedative, and waited for it to kick in before the doctor’s assistant took me back to the procedure prep area. She put numbing eye drops in my eyes, a hair cap, and I was ready for surgery. Dr. Maloney greeted me in the procedure room with a warm smile, assuring me that everything would be ok.
The procedure lasted a total of about 15 minutes. SO quick! It was 100% painless. Dr. Maloney talked me through the entire process giving positive affirmations and walking me through each step. I was really relaxed from the sedative and the surgery was a breeze. Seriously!
I put on the goggles following the surgery, and had my dad drive me home. I took an Ambien and a 4-hour nap (as suggested) wearing the goggles to allow my eyes to heal properly.
VISIT #4: The Next Day Follow Up
Maloney Vision Institute, Westwood, CA
My alarm went off. I tossed around in bed and slowly opened my eyes. OMG, I can see. My vision was a bit foggy (as suspected), but an EXTREME improvement. Dr. Maloney told me that my eyes were healing beautifully, and my vision will be BETTER than 20/20.
PS – I threw my glasses, contact cases, and contact solution in the trash. Boo-yah.
Take a 4-hour nap following procedure.
Sleep with goggles first night only.
2 prescription drops, 3 times a day.
Buy and use new eye makeup for first week.
VISIT #5: The Final Follow Up (1 week post surgery)
Maloney Vision Institute, Westwood, CA
A week after my procedure, I went in for my final visit. Dr. Maloney checked my eyes and told me that my eyes are healing perfectly, and my vision was BETTER than 20/20 – it was 20/15. Wooo!!
I seriously cannot explain what it feels like to wake up and see. I am so, so thankful for my experience at Maloney Vision Institute and strongly recommend Dr. Maloney if you want the BEST LASIK eye surgeon in Los Angeles. If I have any bit of advice – DON’T BE SCARED, DO IT! Feel free to comment with any questions/concerns and I'm happy to answer! xx
10/22/16 Event Recap. It's fashion week all over! Not really, but I can actually say I may have enjoyed this more?! College Fashion Week was a great experience empowering female college students in the LA area.
I attended the event hosted by Her Campus with Kaitlynn, Evelina, and Tiana (our Foray co-founder). As we pulled up to the venue in Culver City, the line to get in was INSANE - we're talking hundreds. It was awesome to see so many young women coming to support a good cause. Inside the venue, there were multiple activation booths, so we had a chance to mingle around and interact with brands before the fashion show started.
The fashion show showcased REAL college girls and was broken up into 4 segments, each with different themes. Foray sponsored the festival portion of the show with the brand Delacy. The outfits were really cute and girls worked it! Seriously - they had major confidence. It's great to see such positivity and fearlessness in young girls.
My current rotation of nude lipsticks.
I've been getting a ton of comments lately on my Instagram about what lip color I use, so I've decided to do a round up on my cult favorites! I'm always on the hunt for the perfect nude lippy - not too pink, not too pale with a tint of brown. Here are a few of my go-to's in my makeup bag right now!
A totally grammable and groundbreaking dermatology office in West Hollywood.
Ok, so getting your laser skin treatments just got a whole lot cuter thanks to Facile Dermatology + Boutique in West Hollywood. Facile offers everything from a custom skincare regimen, laser therapy, facial peels, injectable fillers, IV infusion, and vitamin injections - ah-mazing. You can check out their full menu of services for the full deets.
I went in for my initial consultation yesterday, and the interior is NEXT LEVEL! It totally removes the old school, bland doctor's office vibe and contributes a fresh take on cosmetic dermatology. I was welcomed by Allison, who checked me in as I got acquainted with the space. I sat in their uber cute waiting room (designed by Lifestyle LA) while flipping through the latest Violet Grey issue as I waited for my appt.
Once my name was called, I walked over to the treatment room where I met Dr. Nancy Samoltis, who is a notable MD and board certified dermatologist. We discussed my #skingoals and targeted treatments for my concerns which are redness, discoloration, and dark spots. Nancy and I decided to go with the XcelV laser therapy akaThe Facile Laser and I booked my treatment for the following day. They sent me off with a love package consisting a customized face regimen dedicated to my skin concerns. Facile actually has their own line of specialty skincare products crafted by Nancy, which they sell in their boutique section.
I went back the next day for my treatment (I have never had laser therapy before so I was honestly a little nervous!!) Nancy made me feel super comfortable and ensured me that I would love the results for my skin. The Facile Laser treatment was fairly quick - it lasted a total of 15 minutes. The laser felt like warm raindrops on my face and was virtually painless! The heat from the laser is meant to shrink tiny blood vessels + stimulate collagen, and can be done every 2 weeks. The best part? NO DOWN TIME - woo! After the treatment I IMMEDIATELY saw results. My dark spots had faded and my skin looked brighter and more even overall. I can fully say I'm addicted and I'll be coming back for more.
I'm SO excited about my initial experience with Facile and I wanted to share the love with you guys. I seriously recommend going for a treatment. Oh, and the interior photo opp ;)

A picturesque escape to Amangiri Resort in Utah with Kendra Scott x Who What Wear.
I feel very lucky to be able to travel often, and though every trip is special in its own way, I recently took one of the most memorable of my life. I visited Amangiri, Utah, and words can't describe what a trip this was. Amangiri is a secluded, ultra-lux, and modern hotel that's built into the stunning rocks of rural Utah. This place has been on my bucket list ever since I saw photos on IG years ago, and it did NOT disappoint!
I went with the Kendra Scott team, Who What Wear, Be Social PR, and Foray Collective, and my girls @sophieelkus, @kaitlynn_carter, and @littleblackboots. Foray + Be Social coordinated most of the trip, and WWW acted as an editorial partner since they'llbepublishing a piece on our trip soon! I also just signed to be a social influencer with Be Social, and I'm thrilled to be part of that team. This whole experience was amazing to be included on!
Pulling up to the hotel—after a 5-hour car ride from Vegas, that's how secluded it is!—we felt like we were on Mars. It was jaw-droppingly gorgeous. My favorite part was the pool, especially the shallow area that surrounded a huge natural rock with seating. We learned that the hotel was all-inclusive (cue lots of amazing food, including delish vegetarian options, + prickly pear margs (which are the pretty pink drinks in the photos)!
The first night, we attended the Kendra Scott x Who What Wear Dinner. The Kendra Scott Fall '16 Collectionwas inspired by the wild outdoors and natural stones, so thejewelry paired perfectly with theUtah atmosphere. The KS team set up a long, wooden table underneath the stars, surrounded by the mountains. The rustic table heldbeautifulfloral arrangements, candles, and jewelry from the collection.
The best part of the night was a METEOR SHOWER during dinner! It was super low to the ground, a slow and sparkling 15-second flash. It was incredibly stunning and we were speechless. I was lucky to get a video of it on Snapchat (P.S. I'm only using Instagram stories now!). I'll never forget that dinner.
The next day, we started with a Kendra Scott brunch where we got to create custom jewelry by setting our own stones. I chose to make a silver ring with a white druzy stone thatI absolutely LOVE. After making our pieces, we had the opportunity to make a custom piece (+ a handwritten note) for women fighting breast cancer. This was extra special for me since both my grandma and mom have cancer. Such a sweet touch by the KS team.
We alsovisited the spa and got mani/pedis with Kendra Scott's new polish collection. We then gotmassages which were SO relaxing. Jill and I may also have spent time laying in our bed with room service staring at our mountainviews. We followed that up by pool time. Ahhhhhh! Then we got the chance to visit Lake Powell for boat rides and stopped at some rock formations and jumping points to take photos.
The final day we were so sad to leave, but managed more pool time before heading out. And we had to fit in a few more margaritas!
I really hope that I get to revisit Amangiri, as the trip was simplymagical. I'm also excited to see the editorial of the trip go live on Who What Wear soon—keep an eye out!
It goes down in the DR.
Fresh off Miami Swim Week, I headed to another beautiful coastal destination: The Dominican Republic with Modeliste Magazine. I went alongside @racquelnatasha @nicoleissacs @jessimalay @littleblackboots and we stayed at the Hard Rock Punta Cana. Modeliste is a magazine focusing on modern day tastemakers and influencers, and they were kind enough to host us all week!
It was my first time in the Dominican, and the trip ended up being the most perfect wind-down after the madness of Swim Week. Plus, the quick 2-hour flight from Miami was ideal after running around like crazy all week.
And just when I thought the ocean in Miami was the prettiest…the turquoise waters of the DR were unbelievable. I love you, Miami, but the Dominican has everyone beat. I’ve never seen water like that, and I’ve had a lot of time near the coast!
Naturally, we spent most of our time at the beach. They had dreamy white cabanas and hammocks scattered along the sand; it was out of a postcard. I definitely got recharged with the R+R that my body was craving. The resort was all-inclusive so we made sure to take advantage of that while hanging. Can you say endless pina coladas and plantain chips?! Yummmm!
My favorite part of the trip was dinner on the beach for Jessi Malay’s birthday. It was our own personal area with the most gorgeous table setup (there were chandeliers!), a DJ, and a bar, all during a stunning sunset. I wore all white and ended up blending in perfectly with the setting. I hope Jess enjoyed her birthday as much as we did!
It definitely won’t be my last time in the Dominican. Thanks again, Modeliste!
Another Swim Week for the books.
As I’m sure you saw on my Instagram and other blogger’s social accounts, Miami Swim Week took place a couple weeks ago. I went with my Foray Collective girls @kaitlynn_carter, @littleblackboots, @the_salty_blonde, @jessimalay, @blankinerary, @evelina, @naila, and @racquenatasha, and it was too much fun as always!
It was my FIFTH Swim Week in a row so I’m officially in veteran territory. Miami is one of my favorite places—the mix of city and beach is what I feel like I’m a hybrid of, and it’s hard not to fall in love with the energy there.
We stayed at the 1 Hotel South Beach which I’m obsessed with. Everything from the modern beach décor, to the clean, minimalist aesthetic matches my style perfectly and is what my décor dreams are made of.
The weekend was crazy busy, but in the best way. Friday we hosted a brunch with Kendra Scott Jewelry at our hotel. After that, we checked out the Bollare gifting hub in the Penthouse of the 1 Hotel. The suite had 360-degree windows, so as you can imagine, the views of the skyline + turquoise water were ahhhmazing! They had gifting racks from a few of my favorite brands like Alo Yoga, SUNDAY SOMEWHERE, and Vitamin A Swim. There was also a refreshment bar with coconut waters and sake-soaked pineapple skewers which is the best way to eat fruit, right?! Best of all, there was a beauty lounge upstairs where you could get VIP makeup, nail, and hair treatments. Basically the ultimate beachy dream scenario.
Saturday we hosted an event at Cecconi’s @ Soho House with bikini.com and Be Social PR. That was a blast!
And let’s not forget about the main reason we were all there…swimwear! We went to a bunch of shows including Tori Praver, VIX, For Love & Lemons (with an adorable French-girl theme), and Frankies Bikinis. Foray co-hosted the Indah show at the W hotel which was my personal favorite! We also attended the Mikoh cocktail party on the 1 rooftop where I got to catch up with designers Oleema and Kalani about their line.
It’s always sad to say goodbye to Miami, and I’m already looking forward to my Swim Week #6 in 2017!
A quick getaway with bebe and Foray Collective.
A couple weeks ago, I was able to escape for a dreamy Palm Springs getaway hosted by Foray Collective and bebe. @blankitinerary @pamhetlinger @walkinwonderland @sophieelkus were there too which was great. PS has always been a favored impromptu destination of mine, and I love getting to know new girls from the industry—especially when they are extremely cool and smart.
We stayed at the Korakia Pensione which felt like a Moroccan paradise and had cute, intimate bungalow cottages. The whole space was unique and gorgeous—even the hotel’s fountain had rose petals floating in it. Everything was sooo peaceful and quiet. Since I manage Influencer Marketing at Foray, I actually coordinated the trip and luckily it turned out really well!
Day one I wore my favorite bebe outfit of the weekend, this off-the-shoulder black top. We relaxed at the pool all day and followed that up with in-room massages. Heaven! Happy hour was spent sipping champagne in the hotel’s courtyard where I finally got to meet (the super sweet) Pam and Sheryl. After HH, we headed to Workshop for a three-hour communal dinner with endless laughs...and drinks. Post dinner all the girls headed back to the pool for a night swim + more wine. So much fun!
Before leaving the next day, we attended the bebe brunch at the courtyard and had the BEST avocado toast (even better than what I’ve had in LA). It was farm-to-table food and you could really taste the freshness.
I could do this weekend over and over again. ‘Til next time, Palm Springs!

Huntington Beach just got a revamp.
I recently got to have a girls staycation at the new Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach along with one of my best friends Kaitlynn Carter. We loved everything about the hotel, from the Gray Malin prints to the ocean-facing Penthouse Suite we were lucky enough to stay in. The Pasea is the most beautiful mix of California cool + modern chic and it brings sophistication to the sleepy beach town. We fell in love with the place and had the best time.
We started our Saturday morning with a private yoga session on the hotel’s lawn overlooking the ocean. There’s not a better way to wake up than a peaceful workout overlooking the Pacific, and it set the tone for the whole weekend. We then had the most amazing spa experience with a massage followed by a saltwater hot tub. Yoga + spa time was much needed and it was the most relaxed I’ve been in months.
For dinner, we went to the hotel’s restaurant Tanner’s and were able to try just about everything thanks to the chef. The whole menu was incredible but the curry risotto was my absolute favorite. We obviously had to follow dinner up with drinks at the rum bar on the rooftop deck. The roof was stunning, and it was the most perfect day.
We heard there was shopping close to the hotel, so we knew we wanted to check that out before heading home Sunday. We found a brand new shopping center adjacent to the hotel with unique, charming restaurants and shops. We made our way to the champagne bar, then to Petals + Pop where you can make your own flower bouquets which was so fun and cute. I also noticed The Bungalow, a great beachside bar—like the popular one Santa Monica—that’ll open in August.
We left feeling so refreshed and I’ll definitely be coming back to this little slice of heaven on the California coast.
